JURASSIC QUEST DRIVE THRU DINOSAUR EXPERIENCE #ad #dinosaur #jurassicquest #familyfun

North America’s biggest, most popular, can’t-miss dinosaur adventure will bring

roar-some summer family fun to Gwinnett County Fairgrounds August 13-22

ATLANTA (August 13, 2021) – More than 70 photorealistic dinosaurs are ready to give area families one last summer hurr-ROAR as Jurassic Quest Drive Thru®, the nation’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, opened today in the Atlanta area for a limited engagement through Aug. 22.

After welcoming millions of guests to sold-out events across the country, Jurassic Quest Drive Thru has transformed the parking lot of the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds into a fun-filled drive-thru experience complete with life-like dinosaurs, baby dino and trainer meet and greets, photo opportunities, a choose-your-own- audio-adventure tour, and memories of epic proportions.

The Jurassic Quest® herd of animatronic dinos – from the largest predators to playful baby dinos – are displayed in realistic scenes that allow guests to experience them roaring and moving as they drive through the tour. Jurassic Quest worked in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur was painstakingly replicated in every detail, from coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs and ancient giants of the sea looked and moved. Although the drive-thru experience means visitors will stay safe inside their vehicles, they’ll still need to avoid the swinging tail of the 50-foot Spinosaurus and the gigantic grinning Megalodon!

Tickets for Jurassic Quest Drive Thru start at just $49 per vehicle (8 people or less) and are available only at www.jurassicquest.com. An audio tour comes standard with every purchase (choose from two; special accommodations can be made for the hearing impaired) as well as a safari-style digital souvenir photo of your vehicle and family transported back in time via a Jurassic setting. Special souvenir packages and other add-ons can be purchased at check out.

New for Summer 2021!

Jurassic Quest Drive Thru guests now get to choose their own audio adventure! Jurassic Quest’s own Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Captain Caleb, Prehistoric Nick and Park Ranger Marty provide a fun-filled soundtrack for the hour-long trip back in time to help visitors navigate the dino herd and learn little-known dino facts – packed with plenty of lighthearted humor to tickle funnybones of every age (“get ready to Tricera-STOP here…”)! Visitors can opt for the original audio tour in English and Spanish or one of two brand-new audio adventures: join Safari Sarah’s highlights tour with the rest of the crew serving up A BIG surprise for everyone at the end, or go along for a goofy ride with Prehistoric Nick and Park Ranger Marty as they track a baby dino!

In addition to more than 70 life-like dinosaurs, there will be opportunities to visit with one-of-a-kind baby dinosaurs and the Jurassic Quest team of dino trainers. Though no two visits are ever the same, all attendees will leave with the same bragging rights, “We Survived Jurassic Quest 2021!”

More than 2.5 million people have attended the Jurassic Quest Drive Thru since the national tour launched in June with stops in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Detroit, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston and more.

Designed to be thrilling but not scary for our littlest adventurers, big or small, young or old, Jurassic Quest Drive Thru guests have a dino-mite time!

TICKETS & LOGISTICS

Jurassic Quest Drive Thru adventurers will need to buy tickets in advance online at www.jurassicquest.com. Tickets are $49 per vehicle and include a 100% ticket guarantee that in the event of a show cancellation or postponement for any reason, ticket purchases will be automatically refunded for the full purchase amount. Guests must travel through the drive-thru in the comfort of their own vehicle – no rentals or golf carts will be provided, and walkers are not allowed. To ensure participant safety, all guests must ride inside their vehicles (yes, pets inside vehicles are allowed), no riders in truck beds, however. Trailers are also not allowed – we’re worried they might tempt the hungry dinos too much! Oversized vehicles and vehicles with 9 or more riders are permitted but must contact Customer Service, customerservice@jurassicquest.com, for pricing and scheduling. MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT: SIX WAYS TO SAFELY CELEBRATE THE SEASON AT WORLD OF COCA-COLA #ad #wocc

ATLANTA, Nov. 18, 2020 – The most wonderful time of the year has begun at World of Coca-Cola! Now through Jan. 1, the attraction is showcasing its holiday best and welcoming guests into a true winter wonderland. The twinkling lights, larger-than-life decorations and seasonal beverages are all back as part of World of Coca-Cola’s annual celebration.

“We recognize that this holiday season is going to be different,” said Joanna Hobday, Group Director, Retail Operations and Administration. “At World of Coca-Cola, we are grateful to be able to provide a safe and immersive outing for families and friends who consider Coca-Cola a special part of the holidays. In a year of change and challenges, we invite everyone to come experience the holiday cheer for which World of Coca-Cola is known – and that we all need more than ever.”

Be sure to check these can’t-miss attractions off your list when visiting
World of Coca-Cola this season:

  1. Merry and Bright Season’s Greetings: From their first step into Pemberton Place, guests are transported into a holiday spectacle as they walk through a 28-foot-tall ornament of lights. The glittering lights and giant ornaments dotting the lawn set the scene for the rest of the experience that continues inside.

  1. It’s Beginning to Smell a Lot Like Christmas: We all know those scents that immediately transport us back in time, especially those associated with favorite holiday memories. How does smell work, and why does it trigger such vivid recollections? Scent Discovery, World of Coca-Cola’s newest exhibit, offers insight into the science of smell and puts noses to the test. Guests are challenged to identify a variety of aromas, several of which they likely consider scents of the season. Guests will also uncover beverage recommendations based on – you guessed it – their favorite scents.

  1. Tales of Christmas Past: Though most people aren’t traveling much these days, A Coca-Cola Christmas Celebration takes guests on a trip to far off places and even back in time. The temporary exhibit showcases historic, seasonal Coke ads and artifacts from around the world, including Coca-Cola’s newest cinematic holiday spot, “The Letter.” Don’t forget the big man in red at the History of the Coca-Cola Santa exhibit.

  1. Seasonal Sips: The flavors of the holidays are here! Visit the Taste It! beverage lounge where small groups are led through curated samplings designed to allow guests to safely enjoy limited-time, holiday beverages – including Shortbread Coke for Thanksgiving and longtime favorite Gingerbread Coke for Christmas – as well as drinks from around the world. Don’t forget your smartphone! QR codes are displayed throughout the exhibit to share fun facts and tidbits about the beverages.

  1. Lights, Tinsel and Polar Bears, Oh My!: The perfect holiday snap is at your fingertips, so be sure to smile with your eyes. Guests can pose in front of festive displays or take a socially distant selfie with the grinning 7-foot-tall Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Tacky sweaters welcome. Share your photos with family and friends on social media using #WorldofCocaCola, and you might even be featured on the attraction’s social channels!

  1. Gifts for Your Nice List: Bring your holiday shopping list with you and check off gifts for family and friends while you’re here. There’s something for everyone: from chefs to fashionistas, collectors and athletes. Those who prefer to shop from the comfort of home can check out CokeStore.com for even more holiday goodies. Don’t forget to sign up online to get the scoop on promotions and special offers throughout the holiday season!

The health and safety of employees and guests are World of Coca-Cola’s top priorities, and the attraction has adjusted its operations in compliance with guidelines from health and government authorities. Face coverings are required for all employees and guests over the age of 2, and capacity has been reduced via time-stamped admission tickets to promote social distancing. Thermal temperature scans are conducted for employees and guests upon entry, and cleaning routines have been enhanced throughout the attraction. More information is available online.

Visit and see why World of Coca-Cola is a holiday attraction that simply can’t be missed this year.

Free Admission to the World of Coca-Cola this Sunday! #ad @WorldofCocaCola

This Sunday, Dec. 8, World of Coca-Cola will offer free admission for all guests – for the first time in the attraction’s history. The offer is in celebration of The Coca-Cola Company’s 100th anniversary of becoming a publicly traded company.

On May 8, 1886, the first Coca-Cola was served in Atlanta. Thirty-three years later, in 1919, company made its initial public offering. An original $40 share – along with reinvested dividends – would be worth more than $18 million today. The company has grown with Atlanta, and 16% of shareowners of record live in Georgia.

To celebrate a century as a public company, Coca-Cola is offering free admission at World of Coke on Dec. 8. Guests will also receive a commemorative glass Coca-Cola bottle (see above) while supplies last.

Visitors at World of Coca-Cola can sample more than 100 drinks from around the world, see the vault where Coca-Cola’s secret recipe is guarded and snap photos with the iconic Coca-Cola Polar Bear.

The company is also marking its 100th anniversary on Monday, Dec. 9, by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Touring the Governor's Mansion #Milledgeville #GCSUFamilyWeekend

My family went to Milledgeville to visit with girl-child for Georgia College's Family Weekend. We only did two of the events that the school put on. The morning welcome and the tour of the Governor's mansion. The rest of the time we just wandered campus and hung out as a family. The tour of the mansion, though was cool. It's a structurally interesting building.

The dome that exists INSIDE the building, doesn't exist outside of it (it's hidden).  This is the view from the floor looking up.

And this is a copy of the plans that show it's inside the building, but not visible outside.

It's an interesting place to visit.  The students at GCSU have free access to it, which is cool.
