Ladies' Night at the Braves
I won a pair of tickets to "Ladies' Night Out" at this past Friday night Braves game. It was a charity event to support Camp Twin Lakes. For me it was a chance to get out of the house and away from family for a while. The party itself featured a hair/makeup artist, a couture store from Atlantic Station, a singles' matchmaker, a lip care company and more.
Chocolate marshmallows and strawberries..
Make-up and feathers in the hair..
There was also a fashion show featuring styles from the couture store and from the Braves' shop. Homer dropped in to get the show started.
From there we headed out to our seats in the outfield.
Being frumpy (and tired) mommies, we left halfway through the 8th inning. Figures they'd speed up the game and win in bottom of the 9th after we left. But we had fun anyway, which is always a good thing.

Hangin' with Homer @Braves
During the Braves game last week, Homer came out and sat a couple of rows in front. He seemed to really enjoy the company around him.

@Braves vs. Padres
With Chipper retiring at the end of the year, I decided we needed to get out to a game and watch him. What better night to go than on Chipper bobble head night. HA! Now I have 2 to play with (kids aren't sharing theirs).
I took these with my phone, so they're not the best, but still.. we had great seats.
My daughter didn't want to cooperate at first, but I at least managed to get this one.
Chipper coming in to home after his first home run of the evening.
I have to admit I had a blast (family seemed to). After a stressful couple of weeks, it was a great way to get out and forget about work and school for a while. I can entertain myself with my newest bobble head too.

Braves' Game
We went to the Braves game on Sunday and had a lot of fun. Here are a few images I managed to get that are relatively clear. We were sitting in section 415.
