I was observing my daughter as she played at Suwanee Sports Academy last week. I noticed that her coach was getting on to the girls for not communicating during the game. My daughter, on the other hand, was loudly vocal calling the ball and such. She had learned the lesson of communicating the hard way this past season at Meadowcreek. If the girls didn't communicate, they ran sprints. A lesson learned and retained, it seems. When it came time to have captains determine who served, etc, the coach kept looking to my daughter. At least two other moms were very impressed by her performance on the court, too. I'm very proud of her efforts.
