5th grade misery

Lord save me from fifth grade attitude. Yesterday, I worked in a fifth grade special ed class. They're not that different from a regular class, just different levels of learning. The attitude that you get though is the same. I don't know if it's just that they're kings of the school or what, but I really don't like them as a group. I can deal with the one on one, sometimes. I really prefer not to do very many of the 5th grade days. At the end of the day I was frustrated and tired (we had to send one boy to IR for threatening a teacher). Not the way I want to be for my own kids. As a whole I don't like 5th graders... next year my son will be one.. so I likely won't like him either.
