Pinewood Derby

I decided I'd share a photo of some of the cars from the Derby yesterday. There were about 48 cars total that ran in the races. All of the cars started out as a block of wood from a kit. The boys designed their cars, had help using a band saw to cut them, sanded and then painted them. Some of the sisters did cars as well (my daughter did one that was primarily pink and purple). All in all, the boys seemed to have a lot of fun.
