My daughter hates pre-k

Actually, ask her why she doesn't like it and it all boils down to the fact that she doesn't like taking a nap at school. She has been in preschool since she was one, starting at 1 day a week for 3 hours until last year she did 5 days at 3 hours. Pre-K is the next step as an all-day school. About an hour shorter than her brother.

She pitched a fit before I left her at school Friday, then started melt-down today before we even left the house. She managed to calm down before I'd left her classroom today, though, so that's an improvement of sorts. She's allowed her special bear if it stays in her backpack, just for quiet time. I think what she really doesn't like is that she FALLS ASLEEP during quiet time and is one of the last ones to wake back up when it's over.
