Project S The Series Side by Side #Thaidrama #autism #autismawareness #mustwatch #SidebySide #ProjectStheSeries
I found another drama that I wanted to share. This one is Thai as well. It's a bit different, though, in the story line. Two cousins, one is autistic. They learn to play badminton and the struggles that go along with competition. Compound that, though, by some of the behaviors that can come with autism. It shows the family and their internal issues as well as how kids with autism can be perceived by outsiders. It's one you'll definitely want to make sure you have a tissue box with you when you watch. I commend the actors in this one, especially the one playing Gym. It's 8 episodes, but each episode is broken into 5 videos. One episode will take you about 45 minutes to watch. You can find a subbed version playlist here:

A New Series to watch #thegifted #thaidrama
When I'm home and have the time, I like to search for new shows to watch. I don't limit myself to what's in the US, though if I look abroad I have to find it subbed. Last time I found something to share, it was from China - The Guardian. A great fantasy story. This time it's from Thailand. You could classify it as either sci fi or fantasy depending on your point of view. It's called "The Gifted". It's about a group of kids at a high performance high school. They are "given" abilities, which they have to discover and figure out how to control. There's a lot more to the story line than that, but I don't like giving away stories. I'll just say I enjoyed all 13 episodes (they're broken down in to 4 parts each) and I'm hoping they decide to continue it for a 2nd season.
You'll find the series on it's host station GMMTV here:
Check it out and let me know if you like it too.

Summit Academy
My kids have been taking classes at the Summit Academy. At the end of this past quarter (just before the Thanksgiving Holiday) the school had a Parent's Night where the kids and their work were showcased. My daughter was in art and drama. For parent's night, her drama class performed a short skit. Her role was as narrator. She's hoping next quarter she'll get a different role.
My son had just the one class. He was taking guitar. He and one other boy in the class have had lessons before, the rest were brand new. It was a good review for him and good practice as well.
All of the kids did a very nice job on Parent's Night. My guys are looking forward to going back next year.
