I was fortunate enough to be invited to see the show this past Tuesday. My daughter turned 16 Tuesday, so I took her along with me.
We had a wonderful time. My daughter realized that she'd heard much of the music before and enjoyed the show. If you get the chance before it leaves, it's a definite must see.
MAMMA MIA! will walk down the aisle one final time at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from June 13-18 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2016/2017 season special. The show is one of the most successful musicals of all time, the eighth longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five musicals to have run for more than ten years on Broadway. The West End production is now in its eighteenth year. To date, MAMMA MIA! has been seen by over 60 million people worldwide in 50 productions in 16 different languages. Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA’s songs from “Dancing Queen” and “S.O.S.” to “Money, Money, Money” and “Take a Chance on Me,” MAMMA MIA! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found.
