Native American Festival pt. 1

I took my daughter to the Native American festival out at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds on Saturday. There were lots of vendors selling hand made art and jewelry, a couple of demonstrations and lots of dancers. The dancers had some pretty elaborate costumes. The one below was on a tiny dancer. This gentleman played the electric violin (which fascinated my daughter). The MC called him 'Hootie'. He apparently teaches classes in Suwanee.

This gentleman did demonstrations on bow drills and more.

'Primitive' tools

A sample camp, more likely found on the plains than here in GA.

That looked like a lot of fun! And educational too :) Can't wait for when Jaxon's older and we can do all kinds of things that he'll enjoy :)
