Lazy Day

Last Tuesday, my family went out to Stone Mountain Park while the masses went to vote. It was a gorgeous day. We all walked up the mountain and enjoyed a picnic lunch at the top. Then we walked back down and headed over to CrossRoads. Unfortunately for us, our plans at that point changed since nothing at the CrossRoads was open except the shopping. While the kids love to shop, we weren't going there. So instead, we headed over to the lawn and let the kids roll down the hill. My friend and I relaxed on the grass while the men folk watched the kids. After about an hour, we headed home to hang out before going to dinner.

The Christmas at the CrossRoads started this past weekend, but most of the attractions are closed during the week. No Sky Hike (closed until March), no Great Barn, no Putt-Putt, etc etc. So if you go, check the Stone Mountain web site for the schedule before heading that way. We enjoyed our day (despite no attractions) just being out in the great weather. The foliage was beautiful as well.
