Birthday sleepover

After I take my daughter and her friend to Fernbank for Brownie day, she's headed to stay at a friend's house for the evening. This evening, I'll be taking my son and one of his friends here to celebrate his birthday. It's hard to believe, but in just a few days my son will turn 10. He's gone from a little boy wanting mama to dance with him, to a pre-teen. In a way, I really miss the little boy he was, but I'm very proud of the person he's becoming.
