Don't forget to Vote July 15th

Many of you may (or may not) be aware that we have elections on July 15th in Gwinnett County. This is an important election, especially for those of us who do NOT want to see Vernon Jones as a Senator. There are several areas being voted on, you can check out the candidate list here. Personally, my choice for Senator is between Chambliss and Martin. Your choice should be anyone BUT Vernon Jones. His past history speaks for itself.

Hank Johnson is the other incumbent for my area. If you don't know your ditrict, you can look here.

There is one other item that will be on the ballot that we need to be aware of. That is the question about the Gwinnett Redevelopment Powers Law. It will likely affect the Jimmy Carter, Buford Highway, Gwinnett Place Mall areas. But there is a good Question/Answer page here.
