Aquarium Tip - Active Animals

I had someone post a comment asking about best times to visit to see active animals and not so busy for the humans. I'm generally there first thing in the morning (just before opening) and the best times I see are from opening until around 10:30-11. Other volunteers/employees have told me that after 3p is good to visit too. Basically the landlubbers are most active from 10:30/11-3.

Most of the animals (being fish) are active all day. The only ones you might "miss" being active are the otters. They vary during the day. I usually see them awake/playing first thing, but after that it's hard to predict. Hope that helps!
