Temper Tantrums

OK, I expect toddlers to throw them. I know young children throw them. This is the first time in a VERY LONG time my son (7yo) has thrown one. The offense? We got into a rush this morning to get off to school (I was scheduled to sub). Both he and I forgot his gameboy to keep him busy while his sister did her gymnastics class for an hour. I did not have time (nor the energy) to try to go home just to get his gameboy. I made the offer to go to Eckerd (next door to the gym) and find something for him and his teacher let him borrow some books from the classroom to keep him occupied. Instead, for an hour, he cried, yelled, threw things, kicked things, etc. All while in the van. OI.
