PTA

I volunteered at my son's school a good bit last school year and had a blast. I'd told the PTA I would be willing to help out, but really never got the call until time for the end of year carnival.

Well, they called me this past week. I'm now on the "board" for the PTA. I don't (yet) have a position, but I'm definitely helping wtih fundraising. I don't know if I'm excited or scared about this.

My son, though, thinks it's cool that I'll be "working" at his school. I'm a Gwinnett county substitute teacher and I've made sure his school knows I'm available. I'd like to limit working to my son's school for convenience, but I guess I'll just see what comes up.
