Freaky Friday

Well, maybe not so freaky. My son is home sick today. Since I'm home I'm around the house doing various chores. I'd set my roomba up to do the den while I put away laundry upstairs. I came downstairs to check the laundry (and the roomba) and found my son has changed part of the task of my roomba. It is now a "bus" for pokemon. In case you're not familiar with pokemon, chikorita is in front with cyndaquil in the back.

Toy Update

Well, I've tried out my new Roomba in shag carpet. It does a great job. One of my cats is totally fascinated by it. He'll sit and watch it (from a safe distance) as it tootles around the room. It's not even all that noisy (much less so than a regular vacuum). It does not, though, seem to do a "deep clean" like my regular vacuum, but the stuff that my kids and dog track in goes away nicely. It'll even handle cat and dog hair for me. I dump the bin after it finishes the room, too.
