Delta Skymiles

Ok. I haven't paid a huge amount of attention to the changes Delta has made to the skymiles program. Bad me, I should have. But I was looking today at the costs to transfer points over to someone else. It's not worth it. They charge you $.01/mile plus a $25 transfer fee, you can only transfer in increments of 1000 miles. So at the minimum, it's $35. Now, if you have a friend who only needs 1000 miles to get a free ticket, it's worth the transfer. If you want to do more than that, it's probably not.

Don't you just love those hidden charges?
