Asthma stinks

Well, not really, but it's a pain in the tookus. My daughter started a head cold on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday evening she had it in her chest. Wednesday I had to start nebulizing her because of her cough. Last night when she coughed, she couldn't catch her breath. This morning I looked in her mouth, her tonsils were huge, red, and looked like they had red spots. So off to the doctor we went. Strep test came out negative, she's on orapred (oral prednisone) for a week, and otherwise we have to hold off. She's allergic to amoxycillin and biaxin, which kills most antibiotics, so we have to give her body all the chances we can to let it heal itself. Whee.
