I went out to the Lilburn Farmer's Market last Friday. While I was there, I came across a booth with lots of cool, handmade bags/purses. I really liked several, but when it comes to purses, I like a longer strap. This is the one I ended up getting.
The coolest thing about it, though, is that it's a local charity called Peace of Thread. These are created by refugees in the Clarkston, GA area. I love supporting local and I like helping local charities as well. When you purchase one of the bags, you get a card that tells you something about the person that made the bag. This is my card:
If you'd like to get more information about it, you can find them on their website: http://www.peaceofthread.com on facebook: http://facebook.com/peaceofthread or on twitter @peaceofthread
