Thank you, Harlem Globetrotters @Globies @PhilipsArena

I was given the opportunity to go see the Harlem Globetrotters this past St. Patrick's day in exchange for promoting them. I have to say, going to see the Globetrotters has been one of the things I've wanted to do since I was little. I'll give away my age, but I remember dressing up as Curly Neal for Halloween. From my basketball uniform and carrying my basketball, to having my mom put charcoal on my face and hands. She even created a head cover to hide my (rather long) hair, so that I would look just like him (yea, right).

For whatever reason, I haven't been able to go (money, time, etc) until now. I was lucky to be able to share the experience with my kids. I think my daughter and I were the most excited (she and I decided we needed a Globetrotters basketball to take home). I'd say we had fun, but for me at least that would be an understatement. I did try to catch some photos, but my camera just isn't that fast. I pulled a couple that came out ok, though.

I'll say, too, that it was cool getting to watch the Big Easy. I watched him on the Amazing Race and while he and Flight Time didn't win, it was fun to watch them play. If you get the chance to go see these guys, you'll have a blast. I definitely would put this on my 'must see' list again.
