Robotics Club?

My son's challenge science teacher is starting a First Lego Robotics club at our school. It sounds like they'll start with the 5th graders and then add in the 4th graders later. In the meantime, they're putting together the concepts and the curriculum first. They'll form a team of 10 students (approximately) and hope they'll be competing soon. From what I saw on the USFirst web site, they have to get it together by late September or it'll be a year until they can do anything.

It seems like a really cool idea, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they carry it out as well as they sound.
