Mom Prom

Cub Scouts has a cool event they call the "Mom Prom". It happens during Mother's Day weekend and is for the boys to take their moms out on a "date". The prom teaches them how to pull out chairs, ask for a dance, etc. They have a dance instructor there to teach the boys the very basic steps for dances like the waltz, mambo, etc. We also did the chicken dance, YMCA and electric slide. We didn't last the entire dance, it's a little too close to the end of the school year and my boy is running down fast. We did have a lot of fun, though. The picture is of us as we were leaving for the dance.
