Sometimes..
it pays to be a substitute. I was a third grade teacher today and our "specials" class was science. Turns out that the science teacher had a neuroscientist from Emory in and they were talking about the brain. We were able to see a real human brain (full and one cut in half) and to touch it. We were able to see a monkey brain and a rat brain (in jars) up close. Too cool.
