"Deal with it"

That's been my new response to a lot of things my kids (and the kids at the school) say after I've said "no". Friday, some of the 4th graders were pushing. I was a sub, so it's to be expected. They weren't getting their way on something (I forget what) and I said "deal with it". The shocked faces that they got made me wonder. How often have they not gotten their way? Or was it just that a sub said no and stuck with it? Ah well. Regardless, the faces were humorous.
