Senior Citizens

My daughter and her Daisy troop went to a local assisted living center last night. The girls had made Christmas cards to hang on the doors of some of the residents and last night they got to deliver them. She learned what a senior citizen is and the whole group of 5/6 year olds did very well. I didn't walk the halls with them, their leaders did, but the leaders were quite pleased with their behavior.

This morning, when my daughter got up, her first comment to me was "I know what a senior is now..", when asked what she said "an old person". Not quite tactful, but she's learning. She was quite pleased with being able to cheer them up some too.
