I've been following what happened to the little boy who died at Disney last week. It turns out he had a congenital heart problem that was undetected. It seems all of the deaths recently you hear about from Disney are related to heart problems that were undetected. Is this a growing trend do you think? Are our kids so inactive that their lifestyles are leading them toward this many heart problems? You hear about all the kids that are watching TV all day, or playing video games, but they're not getting out and riding bikes or playing tag. It just makes you wonder. My sympathies go out to the family.
On a different note, Disney gets all the bad press because they're so big. Most people never hear about the other theme park deaths and injuries because the other parks just aren't as noteworthy. So I thought I'd share these two links to show that it isn't jus t Disney.
