I'm taking tomorrow to go to the local Red Cross district office to take a full first aid/CPR class. I worked as a substitute teacher last year at my son's school. After talking with the school nurse, I offered to sub for her as well. She and I agreed that the class would be very useful to have. So, off I go for a day of re-learning things I used to know. I was certified when I worked in the corporate world (I was the office "nurse"), but never renewed. It's been so long now that I get to take the class all over again. It'll definitely come in handy though.
I'll also let the Aquarium know about my class next week when I'm there. I don't know what (if anything) will be of use with that info, but I may as well make sure they know.
