Not only am I a mean mommy to my own kids, I'm apparently mean to my kids' friends too. I actually make sure they go home when they're supposed to be there. I'd rather they go home (before welcome is worn out) than hang around longer 'cause they're not ready to leave (and have tempers flare).
My husband picked up my son's friend from his home today so that he could come over to play (otherwise he couldn't come). Hubby and I both told his mom we'd have him home by 6p. So I made sure hubby took him home on time. Son's friend was NOT ready to leave.
I'm just a mean mommy..
