This is just wrong..
One of the radio stations has been talking for at least a week about a 37 year old woman who has gotten pregnant by a 15 year old boy. Because of an outdated law in GA that states a minor can get married without parental consent if the female is pregnant, the boy married the woman. Now, because they are married, the boy cannot be made to testify against the woman who is charged with child molestation. There's a severe problem with this law that lets this happen. The woman has 2 other kids by someone else and apparently had a miscarriage last year with this boy. Something is very wrong here. Here's the AJC's article on it:

I agree. Something is wrong with a a law that lets child molesters get off by marriying their victim. I am sure that something will be done about that now. Too bad it's too late for that woman.
