Morgan Stanley

My cousin called me yesterday, she's worked at Morgan Stanley for 19 years (well, Dean Witter, which was absorbed by Morgan Stanley). She was fired yesterday because she "didn't produce". Morgan Stanley already has problems with being biased against women, so firing women is going to open them up for court cases again. They apparently released 1000+ people yesterday in an attempt to reorganize. It will be interesting to actually see what happens as a result.
