Well drat

I went to my son's school to volunteer today. I missed going last week on Wednesday because my daughter's school asked me to substitute for a teacher that was out. Anyway, I stopped by the media center and let them know what happened and it turns out one of the ladies has to go in for surgery a week from this friday. They REALLY need a substitute for her for 2-3 weeks. They want ME. Unfortunately, my application hasn't been processed yet, and even if it had I can only work part-time. I talked with the lady in the front office about it, she doesn't think that she can push to get things processed any faster. DRAT!
