Dryer Saga continued..
Well, I picked up a dryer belt this week. I *thought* I'd gotten the right one. When I checked out (I'd gone to the Sears outlet), I asked the guy if it was right. He took a look and said "looks like it". Well, hubby reassembled dryer and the belt is either wrong (too loose), or something that USED to be in the dryer is no longer there. We can't find the manual online (too old), so now I wait to find out what hubby wants to do.. *sigh*

this may sound weird, but when we first moved into our new fixer upper, we didn't have a dryer...so we got our dryer at the back of Lowe's - literally at the BACK where they were putting things out to be "disposed of".. and there was one dryer that looked workable, but its heating element was warped, so david went and got a heating element thingy at the sears' place, replaced it, and we now have a VERY workable Kenmore Heavy Duty dryer for like $20/= :) er..we're not THIS junky most of the time :)
