The group of moms/dads/etc giving hugs from Pride weekend were invited to be at the AIDS walk yesterday. While I was out there, a couple of gentlemen stopped by to let us know about an upcoming 200 mile bike ride to fundraise for AIDS research/service organizations. Those groups include Emory Vaccine Center, Jerusalem House, Positive Impact and AID Atlanta. The ride itself is next year: May 18&19 from Emory Vaccine Center to Eatonton, GA and back.
