Aurora Swing Nights Presents My Jazzy Valentine Concert on February 12
Concert Series continues with guest vocalists Jeremy Wood and Laura Floyd

Lawrenceville, Ga., (February 2, 2015) – Aurora Theatre helps create the perfect Valentine’s Day memory for any relationship with Aurora Theatre Swing Night presentation My Jazzy Valentine on Saturday, February 12 at 8 p.m. This special edition of the popular concert series will feature the Metro Jazz Club, a smoking hot 17-piece band performing an array of songs to get couples swinging with their sweetie this Valentine’s Day.

Metro Jazz Club is dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed. Led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton, it includes two amazing vocalists, velvety crooner Jason Joines and zesty diva Amanda Richards. Joining the fun are guest vocalists and Aurora favorites Jeremy Wood and Laura Floyd, who portrayed fiancĂ©es in Aurora’s 2010 hit musical, A Catered Affair, and ended up being a real-life married couple post-production. This romantic tale of love makes these two the perfect pair to join in for My Jazzy Valentine. Wood and Floyd will also be appearing in the highly anticipated regional premiere of the recent Broadway hit Hands on a Hardbody, Aurora’s 2014–2015 season finale, coming to the Lawrenceville stage this May.

This season, Aurora Swing Night concerts will be held on Thursday nights at the spectacular Gwinnett event facility, 550 Trackside. This gorgeous setting built in 1904 contains granite walls, archways and original wood, all restored to their natural beauty. 550 Trackside is located off the Lawrenceville Square, along the tracks and across from the old Lawrenceville train depot.
